It's been three months since we've been to Barangay Tulungatung for our CHP's house-to-house survey. The team and the residents were able to identify the problems and prioritize them last semester. And our visit this semester at Barangay Tulungatung is different, as we immersed our selves and live in the community for a month. Immersing at our assigned community gave us the opportunity to built rapport, good camaraderie and stronger bond with the people in the community. It brought engagement that helped the team perform better and productive, just as planned.
Before our one-month immersion, we had planning and scheduling of activities with the guidance of our preceptor, Dr. Shiela Tan-Ganih. We knew by then that our full-pack schedule will bring us productive days ahead.
It was a fruitful general Assembly we had with our Barangay leaders, zone leaders, and organizational heads last August 27, 2022 at Barangay Health Center. We presented our community health plan. We felt the support and accords that they also want the planned goals to be achieved. An immortalized line of our national hero Dr. Jose Rizal emphasized "Ang Kabataan ay ang pag-asa ng bayan". However cliché, we stand for hope on our future generation. We must instill proper education for them to live a healthy life in the current generation and to pass on the future.
