Zero Face-to-face Community

October 2021

It was covid-19 surge before community started last October 2021. In light of the rising number of Covid-19 cases in our city, we adopted the zero face-to-face interaction with our assigned community, Barangay Tulungatung. Community immersion did not take place. We were saddened by the timing of the Covid-19 surge. We've imagined that this could be the time wherein we could build rapport and establish good interpersonal relationship with the people of Barangay Tulungatung. Hence, as advised, we just gathered the secondary data from the City Health Office and Barangay Health Center. The secondary data sources includes censuses, barangay records, Barangay health center records and data. We also interviewed the midewife, Ms. Fe Alvarez, through phone call for additional data and information in coordination with our preceptor, Dr. Shawa Tan. With the data that we had and its limitations, we did the community health plan and presented it at the end of the semester.

The team had group meetings for our CHP plan.

This is our photo op after our CHP presentation with the panelist Dr. Jem Cristobal, Dra. Janice Cristobal, Dr. Marcus Mancao, together with Ayala District Medical Officer and our preceptor, Dr. Shawa Tan.
